Location ideas for pop up weddings in Sudbury, Ontario

July 18, 2020 by pnkdadmin 10 Comments

There are many spots suitable for a pop up wedding experience in Sudbury. Here’s a list of some of our favorite areas.

If you’re considering a pop up wedding and are looking for a wedding planner, wedding officiant and wedding photographer all-in-one package ask us. We’re here for you.

Here’s the list, in no particular order:

  • Fielding Park, Lively No doubt one of our favorites. This is where we held our first ever Pop Up Wedding event, which was a huge success. This place has it all, whether you want to participate in one of our pop up wedding day events, or rent this location out for your own exclusive wedding, the building and the natural surroundings make this a favorite. Here’s the city PDF card.
  • Northern Water Sports on Lake Ramsay, Sudbury  Another favorite for those who want a great hall on the water
  • Gazebos on Ramsay Lake or Copper Cliff more details here.  A little more challenging with weather and lack of washroom facilities, but still an excellent option for  a great location
  • Adanac Ski Hill Chalet and Rotary Trail. Why not? Loads of trails nearby, great facilities. The only challenge is the lack of air conditioning in the main chalet.
  • Camp Sudaca. Want something with a more laid back outdoorsy vibe? This place may be exactly what you’re looking for.
  • Kingsmen Hall Lively  A more traditional and larger hall
  • Dowling Leisure center Same as the Kingsmen hall above.
  • Centennial Hall, Hanmer  Again, same as Lively and Dowling
  • Garson Community Hall…. in Garson.
  • The Fromo Elgin St  Love this place, downtown Sudbury
  • United Church in Coniston. What a great spot in a historical church.
  • Back Yards, Boats and other cool ideas
  • Idywilde and Timberwolf….two excellent golf course locations
  • Lake Lauzon resort. Short drive near Blind River on a stunning lake
  • Your back yard. We have our own sound system which we use, but if you need something beefier, consider Michael Lalande’s sound rental system
    • The Hacienda B&B near Hanmer…stunning!
