Pop up weddings are becoming more and more popular. It’s the easiest way to get married legally without ALL the usual hassles.
In many ways it’s like an elopement, but not really. You get to invite up to 25 wedding guests, more or less. You can have the perfect wedding without going broke and create memories worth sharing. In a nutshell a pop up wedding is just like a large wedding with all the decor, pomp, elegance, all this and more shrunk down to a compact, manageable and affordable size.

As wedding costs increase, couples are looking for alternatives to the traditional expensive wedding. With the average cost of a weddings being over $20K, couples are opting to save that money for an amazing honeymoon or a down payment on their first home.

Being your own person is important to today’s generation. They want to wear whatever they want, do whatever they want, have bridesmaids, don’t have them, whatever. With a pop-up wedding you can show up in a pink dress and army boots or a Gucci dress and heels and no one would blink an eye.

You don’t have to give up those stunning wedding photos if you have a pop-up wedding. Unlike at a traditional wedding, at a pop-up wedding you actually get to spend time with your partner because you don’t have to “make your rounds” with all of the guests.

So what is a pop up wedding then?

Is it the same as eloping?
In some ways it is. In others it’s not. Eloping typically focuses on only the bride and groom, and if that’s what you want, a pop-up wedding is perfect! However, if you still want to share the moment with your nearest and dearest you can bring them along – the main difference is the size. Pop ups are smaller scale in terms of guest numbers.
