Lauren and Andre had their wedding license, hall, all wedding plans ready to go. Like all wedding this season, they all got cancelled and postponed.
Lauren and Andre like so many other couples simply postponed their hall and reception. But decided to get married in their backyard, since their wedding license was only good for 90 days.
She plans on having some form of celebration next year, perhaps with a vow renewal or whatever makes sense at that time. Either way, a bigger, much bigger celebration will happen in 2021.
For now, they are legally married. And following the lockdown rules had a great day. Many of the same elements and experiences of a bigger wedding still happen, only smaller. It’s the nature of a pop up wedding. Elegant, well done, just small. And legal of course.

There’s a lot of interest in these events and we’re talking inquiries. Some are asking about the actual photography. Of course, the weather plays a big part in how the photos look at this location, but rain or shine, we get them done.

Rain can be a real damper. Worse yet, when you have a large crowd of close friends and family, all outdoors, nothing but umbrellas, hopefully, and if it starts raining, that dampening effect made way worse by the mere fact that so many are in attendance. Ugh….what a mess!
Not so much with a smaller, more manageable crowd at a pop up wedding.
