I’ve shot many weddings at City Hall. It’s legal and, well, serves a purpose. You get married.
They are mostly straightforward and ‘nothing fancy’. Mostly utilitarian, if you know what I mean. After all it takes place in the city chambers and is performed by a city clerk.
Works for me if it works for you.
But, a pop-up wedding has a few distinct advantages over a city hall wedding. One, location. We can go just about anywhere. Even on an island or trail in the bush.
Or your backyard, or cottage, or Ramsay Lake. Name it. Be creative. City Hall won’t come to you. But we will.
Also, there’s the decor, and the photography, and the music. They may seem like small items, but they can add so much more to your wedding day experiences. Even if it’s a smaller wedding. Make it nice, make it elegant, make it memorable.
